FAQs
We recommend buying your shoe size.
If you’re a half-size, always size up.
For example if you are a 6.5 buy our size 7-8. Our insoles can be easily trimmed with scissors at the forefoot for a perfect fit.
Simply use your current shoe insole as a guide when trimming and trim from the top.
If helpful, you can also compare the insole measurements in our sizing chart here
Enertor insoles were designed to reduce impact, improve biomechanics and relieve common pain points, making them ideal for helping with:
Stress fractures (impact reduction during return to activity)
Muscle strains and ankle sprains (during recovery)
Both our running and walking insoles feature a metatarsal pad, a drop toe, subtle arch support and a raised heel.
Enertor insoles will work in most shoes and running shoes with removable insoles.
They were designed to be super thin and lightweight.
For example they work great in football boots, hiking boots and tennis shoes.
They do not work in:
Ultra-wide shoes such as Altras
Stability shoes (those already with arch support)
Carbon plated shoes without a removable insole (unless you are willing to rip out their insoles)
Enertor insoles feature subtle arch support.
This makes them ideal for:
Neutral arches,
Mild overpronation
Mild-to-moderate flat feet
Anyone who finds traditional high-arch or rigid orthotics uncomfortable.
They are not recommended for people who supinate or whose feet naturally roll outwards.

I’ve been suffering badly from Achilles tendinitis. I bought the insoles and the slides more out of desperation than any hope of them actually making a difference. I can honestly say they are brilliant. No more pain, my runs now feel like I’ve got some energy - amazing. Definitely recommend.
I had a calf muscle tear last year so need to make sure I’m as comfortable as can be so new shoes every year along with a new Enertor insoles.
The added comfort has been very reassuring.
As you can see I have them in my road running and trail shoes too.
I tend to put them on top of the existing insoles for added comfort but you can remove the original insoles then replace them with these if that’s your preferred method.
Although it adds to the cost of the shoes I think it’s worth replacing the insoles each time you replace your shoes.
After owning many pairs of your walking insoles over the last 4 years, the latest pair were put to a good test last Saturday in the 2026 Pathfinder March - superb as always even over 49 very tough, very wet miles
Using during stress fracture recovery. Fit well into my adidas supernova as the original souls were really thin. Didn’t fit well in my asics gel kayano lite, but likely as these are really cushioned anyway. Buying another pair for my trail runners. So far, no stress fracture complaints so hopefully they are working.
So much cushioning this should be the standard for all manufacturers. Good job we have Enertor to go to for a decent insole. This will help massively when I start running again after injury.
Loving these new insoles :) I am a lifelong runner of 52 years of age with a history of bad knees and tight calves. The combo of these insoles with these shoes is pretty special. Super comfy cushioning which eases the stress on my aged lower limbs.
This is my second pair of Enertor running insoles, as I’ve worn the others for over 500km so I’ve decided on a new pair! Even though the show no signs of falling apart! The insoles are super springy and comfy - no blisters! I have had plantar fasciitis in the past and (touch wood) it’s not come back since I’ve used Enertors for running, AND for my walking shoes at work.
The Enertor insoles have been invaluable to me. Due to a persistent Achilles injury in 2020 I nearly stopped playing walking football.
Last throw of the dice I bought some Enertor. 5 years on I am still playing and am now an established England over 50s walking football player. We won a World Cup in 2024 and I am currently the record goalscorer with 38 goals. More importantly my physical health along with my mental health and wellbeing is protected because my Enertors allowed me to continue playing the sport I love the most.
Thank you
Mark
I went running with the insoles in a pair of asics running trainers and I was pleasantly surprised with the results.
I suffer with jerky knees but the Everton insoles has helped me running free of injury.
Worn them in slowly as recommended. Then rotated them in my short easy runs for the first 2 weeks. I already felt the difference there and couldn't wait to try them on my long runs. Once there, I couldn't believe how they held up on a 17 mile run. Especially my feet!
The energy return is real. Runs feel waaay more comfortable especially on concrete sidewalks. I am blown away by these insoles. What a quality product. Buy two.
These insoles are insane , I’d gone from running half marathons to not being able to run at all within the space of a year due to shin splints , I had tried everything to fix them which was unsuccessful , then I come across these insoles done my first run with no pain last week ! To the this week doing a 10k again NO PAIN , because of these insoles it’s allowed me to get back into running and keep on with my passion ❤️
Been using Enertor insoles since 2019 National running show, before then I was always having trouble with my feet, plantar fascia etc. since using these I've not had it. I put them in all my running shoes road and trail. Then I put them into my normal everyday shoes when I've finished running in them.
Been trying to break them in for around 2 weeks now but they're actively giving me blisters on my mid foot... Going to try for another week but will likely return if possible...
I’ve been wearing Enertor insoles for many years now both on road and trail, i literally won’t run without them! They take the shock out of your foot strike which really helps keep fatigue reduced especially helpful during my ultra marathons!
I bought these because I have plantar pain. And I can’t stop training as I have an event in December. These have changed everything. Pain is now totally manageable and I can continue training as normal. Brilliant product!
Me at the finish of the ‘Hilly’ Cornish Marathon on 02nd November with a new pair of Enertor insoles in my Clifton 10’s. 04:14:12 for my first marathon at the age of 67, and 3rd in Age Category. No problems with joints or muscles. I have been wearing them in all my running shoes all year and wouldn’t run without them now!
66 year old me with my support team following the Eden Project Half Marathon on 19 October. It’s a tough hilly, multi-terrain half. Buying some new insoles for the Cornish Marathon on 02 November, another hilly one, but that’s Cornwall. I really believe Enertor insoles help protect my old joints!
Just bought my second lot of Enertor insoles. One pair going into an existing pair of shoes which now feel fantastic again. The other pair into a new pair of shoes. Helping me keep injury free
My husband had a pinched nerve was struggling with recovery. After physiotherapy and massages he still could not make it past 30 minutes of running without his leg going numb.
After getting the insoles, he strugled a bit during the adjustment. I would recomend do a lot fo short runs. - he is now running more than an hour without any problems!
Clearly his foots arc was part pf the problem, and he feels the change within weeks. Woudl and will buy again: we could not be happier!
Believe the hype! These insoles are actually brilliant! 60 miles and 20,000 feet in the Dolomites just after I bought them and my feet felt great. I am really impressed.
Been wearing Enertor Running insoles for a few weeks after i have been recovering from a calf injury.
I ran the Great North Run and previously a few weeks of training.
So far , no more injuries.
I’ve been using very expensive prescription orthotics for over 30 years & decided to try Enertor & I’ve been so pleased. I regularly do long distance ultras & multi day races & they’ve been brilliant. I’ll definitely be buying more pairs 😊
The fit for my street running shoes (size 8) was perfect and they have genuinely helped me recover from a leg injury I picked up, very supportive on my foot and its like im running on clouds now, definitely looking at getting more at some point.
I started suffering a bit from plantar fasciitis so changed my inner soles to the Enertor, to try out. I was expecting to have to get used to them, but they're really good. No heel pain and so flippin comfortable. Such a good run., just over 5 miles. The shoes only have 52 miles on them but I do love off road.
I had to trim and sand the arch support to better match the original as it was causing the end of the I sole to really dig into my arches and was causing me tendon pain. And that was just from walking in them to break them in. They are a good insole, but I don’t think they are a one size fits all.
