THE SCIENCE BEHIND ENERTOR
Running is brutal on the body. Every foot strike sends shockwaves up through your feet, ankles, knees, hips and spine. Over thousands of steps, those repeated impacts add up - often leading to pain, overuse injuries and time away from training.
That’s why we created PX1 ® - a cushioning material technology that delivers both impact shock dissipation and energy return when it matters most: at ground contact.
PX1® A Breakthrough in Shock Absorption
PX1 is our proprietary shock-absorbing and energy-returning material, used in our Running and Walking insoles.
It absorbs 51% of impact and has an energy return of 47%.
At rest, PX1 feels soft and flexible. But the moment your foot strikes the ground, it transforms.
How it works
PX1 contains millions of free-flowing particles. Under impact, these particles instantly lock together to form hydroclusters, creating a protective structure that dissipates energy across the entire insole, as opposed to back up your joints. This helps athletes better prevent injury.
Clinically Proven Results
Our insole technology has been clinically proven by third-party research to provide incredible injury protection and pain relief.
In a study with the British Military and The University of Melbourne our insole technology was shown to reduce the risk of injury by 66%.
In an independent trial of plantar fasciitis sufferers and Enertor insoles, 91% of participants reported reduced pain using our insoles. 69% of plantar fasciitis sufferers even reported that Enertor insoles helped heal them.
PX1 vs Leading competitor
So how do Enertor insoles compare to the current market-leading insole?
- 89% more shock absorbent
- 40% lighter
- 95% softer
A patented design based on 25+ years of research
Enertor insoles aren’t just shock absorbent. Their structural design was built on more than two decades of biomechanical research.
Using over 150,000 data points, we identified the insole features to most effectively relieve common aches and pains experienced by athletes. Every element of the insole exists because the data proved it works.
Enertor insoles and slides feature: a met pad to relieve forefoot pressure and pain, a drop point to relive big toe and bunion pain, subtle arch support to lessen pronation and support sore arches and a raised heel to relieve calf and achilles pain & tightness.
UltraSole® the ultimate post-run relief
UltraSole® is the technology at the core of our new Recovery Slides. Built for the moments after the miles, it delivers full-foot cushioning that eases muscle fatigue, relieves pressure points and helps tired legs bounce back faster.Proven to reduce post-run fatigue in independent athlete trials.
Using the same biomechanically informed design features as our Running and Walking insoles, UltraSole® is engineered to give your feet and legs the break they need post-run or workout - maximum comfort, minimal strain, faster recovery.
