Usain turned his name into fame

Usain Bolt, our spokesman for the ENERTOR brand, is one of the planet’s most recognizable faces.

Just how recognizable?

Among athletes whose sports call the Olympics their pinnacle, he has no equal.

ESPN.com set out to find Earth’s most famous athletes. The Stats and Info department put together a formula that factored in salary, endorsements, social media following and Google search popularity.

The result was the ESPN Fame 100.

Bolt checked in at No. 15, 31 spots ahead of fellow Olympian Michael Phelps and just ahead of global stars like tennis’ Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova, soccer’s Wayne Rooney and golf’s Rory McIlroy.

Usain did more than break his limits. He’s broken world records and his time of 9.58 seconds in the 100 meters is still the fastest in history. His average speed during that run is more than 23 miles per hour!

That’s made him one of the most famous athletes in the world.

How do you break your limits? Tell us at mylimits@enertor.com and we might feature you in this space.  f
